Having said that, we have taken note of Google's recommendations on avoiding excessive app options and settings, and we have made the opposite choice. We believe that freedom of choice is crucial for fostering creativity. The Launcher may appear overwhelming to some, but it is precisely this wide range of configurable options that makes it the best launcher. The possibilities are endless and the math doesn't lie.
Yes, we offer screens, icons, and widgets – everything you need to customize your device. If you prefer ready-made options, you can use themes or widget and template packs. Is your device's desktop feeling dull? Change it up, just like Sam. It's your style, your rules. Do whatever you like – or don't. There's a setting for everything. Tweak it, change it, shake it up – the choice is yours.
And remember, "There's no such thing as 'the unknown,' only options inside ADW Settings."

We have reprogrammed and redesigned most of the application from scratch. Additionally, we have added numerous new features:
- Support for Android 7.1 launcher shortcuts (limited support on older versions down to 5.x)
- New icons effects section where you can choose image filters and compositions
- Dynamic UI coloring that adjusts to your wallpaper colors
- A new way to manage screens by holding down an empty area of the desktop
- A new way to add widgets and shortcuts
- A new way to change the wallpaper, lock/unlock the desktop, or access settings by holding down an empty area of the desktop and selecting the desired option

- Added a new Custom Widget object that allows you to create, edit, and share custom widgets from a widget list or import them from friends and other developers
